Self catering accommodation of 4* standard in a quiet rural and peaceful heritage setting at historic Loughbrickland House in the village of Loughbrickland, near Banbridge, County Down, Northern Ireland. An old stone coach-house has been converted into two units, 'Coolnacran' and 'Lisnagade', by craftsmen using local materials. There is access to an old walled garden with patios and barbecue areas furnished for guests, a safe area for children to play in and where adults can enjoy a sundowner. Lisnagade has two double ensuite bedrooms, a downstairs cloakroom and a cosy living room, with traditional gas fire which creates a cheerful atmosphere. The kitchen area is equipped to the highest standard and there is central heating and a separate laundry room with 24/7 access. We are environmentally conscious and encourage guests to participate in our waste recycling programme using accessible and clearly labelled receptacles. We are ideally situated as a base from which to explore the many delights of Co. Down and Co. Armagh. Belfast is 40 minutes drive away and the Giant's Causeway can be seen on a day trip. Closer to home, the Loughbrickland Historic Trail passes closeby and encircles the Whyte Estate of which Loughbrickland House is a part.
